Just when I thought I was bored in FFXI, I tried Dynamis and loved it. Sure, dying does suck, but I only died 3 times, and got a Raise 3 everytime, so it didn’t really matter. I did dynmais-bastok, and the music is pretty cool. It sounds like the shadow lord music, but only the humming over and over. Dynamis - Bastok is just really Bastok Mines, only with monsters and no NPCs. Yurei got his AFv2 gloves, and I was hoping to get my black mage AFv2 (the pants), but they didn’t drop :(. I did, however, get some pictures, which are darker than when I took them in the game (that always happens >.>).

Yay! I got a Raise 3!

Basically, all I did was nuke the statues. The puller (Hybredhawk, who also runs the linkshell), pulls a statue and a few Quadavs. The party I was in had 5 blms and 1 brd. We stood at the front, and all casted magic on the statues as they went by us. They hit pretty hard 300-500 per hit, but they only have like 1000 hp. And sometimes when they die, they give a full hp or full mp AoE thing to us! Only times I died was when I was the only one doing my job and nuking, so I got hate and they didn’t nuke fast enought, or at all. I’m hoping to make the next dynamis this thursday, wish me luck :D!
