New Gear/Old Jobs

As seen in my last post, I have officially retired White Mage and Paladin, and put all their stuff up for sale, along with other stuff I had laying around that I never touched anymore.

Not as epic/sweet as when Rilian got his for like 10,000 gil, but now I have a pair too. :3 Which makes my war gear almost complete (excluding dream items like Ridill/Adaberk).

I have finally decided it’s time to retire some jobs. Paladin and White Mage are two jobs I’m never on, and I will probably never level them again, or even use them.

So to make the other jobs that I still play better, I have decided to sell all my armor of those two jobs for gil.

….Damn, I thought that was going to be longer.

Edit: 490,000 gil made so far! (Startd with 214,523 gil total)

Time to post some positive FFXI updates. :p

Since the last update, I have beaten ToAU’s mission line, and got a kick-ass ring to replace my Sniper’s Ring, which I may end up selling…

Partied some on WAR, got a good party and ended up getting 2 merits before my power went out ._.; Getting closer and closer to capping parrying skill.

Spent some extra time I had to cap my Enhancing Magic on Red Mage. It was only one level off from cap, and it took a good hour to cap it.

Time for something that I usually never do. Maps! Since I use FFAssist, my need for maps is limited, but it’s always nice to have them I guess. Rilian wanted to get The Garden of Ru’Hmet map, so we went off as whm/nin (Rilian) and whm/blm (me). Instead of trying to kill everything that aggro’d us or sleep them, we just zerg rushed them and died, then reraised. We were only unlucky once and we had to HP, but overall we only lost like 3k exp, which isn’t bad considering how many times we died.

Oh, to get the map of places in sea (Garden of Ru’Hmet is in sea :p), you have to talk all the NPC Quasilumin, which are spread out all over the zone. Everything in sea is either non-aggro, or true sight, so we would do our best to sneak around, and if we got aggro we just rushed across the zone and died in a safe spot.

And today, I got a party on bard (that ended up becoming horrible so I force disconnected out of it >_>), and got 3 merits in it. I decided to put 3 into Phalanx II and keep the other 2 for future use.
